About

We started this blog when we left to spent June and July 2010 in Costa Rica, volunteering our time with Abriendo Mentes in Playa Potrero and La Escuelita de Esperanza in San Jose.  We wanted our friends and family to be able to join us on our adventure.  After getting engaged in Costa Rica and then arriving back home in August, we decided to keep up with the blog so we could have an account of our life together from the very beginning.  We welcome you to join us as we navigate life together.  Enjoy!

    SO excited for you both! What great work you will be accomplishing there! Work hard but HAVE FUN! Enjoy the surroundings, the community, and each other. Matt & I will be thinking of and praying for you here back home.
